TECHNOLOGY

The Technology competency area focuses on the use of digital tools, resources, and technologies for the advancement of student learning, development, and success as well as the improved performance of student affairs professionals. Included within this area are knowledge, skills, and dispositions that lead to the generation of digital literacy and digital citizenship within communities of students, student affairs professionals, faculty members, and colleges and universities as a whole. This competency area serves as the newest addition to the professional competencies.

Experiences

EDH 5630 – Capstone in Higher Education – Dr. Kathy Guthrie

  • Created and designed digital Capstone Portfolio website highlighting graduate experience and learning

 

Hardee Center for Leadership and Ethics in Higher Education

  • Created, oversaw, and managed all social media platforms for The Hardee Center

  • Produced The LifeNet newsletter bi-annually, Annual Report, and various event programs and invitations

 

NODA Intern at Bentley University

  • Created and managed social media platforms for Bentley University Summer Orientation

  • Designed and implemented assessement tools for summer and fall orientation using Qualtrics

  • Created and presented the 2015 Bentley University Summer Orientation Assessment Report

 

ACPA - College Student Educators International - Assessment Planning Team Task Force

  • Serve on 15-member task force designated by ACPA Board of Governors

  • Bi-weekly meetings take place on WebEx, a digital program used to coordinate virtual meetings
